In spring 2025 L-mobile opened a 750+ m² event centre in Sulzbach an der Murr — and built six smartments into the top floor. Whether you're celebrating in the hall, sitting through a workshop, or just stopping over on the B14, you sleep one flight up — fresh, quiet, considered.

Six smartments on the top floor.

Sorted by size. All smartments share oak parquet, smart TV, en-suite shower bathroom, and a kitchenette with coffee machine, kettle, fridge and bun-warming oven.

HinweisNote: the kitchenette is set up as a breakfast and snack lounge — fridge, kettle, coffee machine, bun-warming oven, sink. There is intentionally no stove and no oven; for hot meals we'll happily point you to one of the addresses in Sulzbach an der Murr.

Smartment 8 is wheelchair-accessible — lift access, step-free shower, grab bars, lower-height sink. Details on the smartment's page.

Skip the hotel buffet — a breakfast set lands in your smartment.

On request we stock the fridge with bake-at-home rolls, sliced meats and cheese, spreads, coffee and tea. The small bun-warming oven sits inside the kitchenette — it warms in minutes whatever has waited overnight.

Sulzbach an der Murr sits in Rems-Murr-Kreis right on the B14 — the main road between Stuttgart and Schwäbisch Hall. The train station, the B14 on-ramp, and the start of the forest trails are all on foot. Not to be confused with Sulzbach/Saar or Sulzbach in Taunus.

PLANET BLUE opened in 2023 as one of the largest event venues in the greater Stuttgart area. A 500+ m² hall for up to 850 guests, a cosy bar, a lounge and three video studios — all one floor below the smartments. We're happy to put you in touch for a viewing.

    Where exactly are the smartments?

    On the top floor of the PLANET BLUE event centre on the B14 in 71560 Sulzbach an der Murr (Rems-Murr-Kreis, Baden-Württemberg). Sulzbach (Murr) train station is on foot, the B14 on-ramp sits right outside. Not to be confused with Sulzbach/Saar, Sulzbach in Taunus or Sulzbach am Inn.

    How is the kitchenette equipped?

    Sink, fridge, coffee machine, kettle and a small bun-warming oven for the breakfast service. Intentionally no stove and no oven — for hot meals you head out to one of the addresses in Sulzbach an der Murr.

    What's included in the breakfast service?

    Bake-at-home rolls, sliced meat and cheese, spreads, coffee, tea and milk — placed in your smartment's fridge before arrival. The bun-warming oven inside the kitchenette warms everything in minutes. Bookable per person and night as an add-on.

    Is one of the smartments wheelchair-accessible?

    Yes — Smartment 8 is designed as a barrier-free smartment: lift access from the ground floor to the top floor, step-free roll-in shower, grab bars at the toilet and in the shower, lower-height roll-under sink, widened doorways and turning radii, and step-free self check-in. The other five smartments are also reachable by lift, but their bathrooms are not fully wheelchair-accessible. Reach out if you have specific requirements.

    Is there parking?

    Yes — free parking for cars and bikes right at the building. During events it can get full; for overnight guests we reserve a spot.

    What's around the area?

    The Schwäbisch-Fränkisch Forest nature park starts right outside — hiking, cycling, small reservoirs. Stuttgart is about 45 min by car, Schwäbisch Hall about 35, Heilbronn about 50. Sulzbach itself has a historic centre with church and market square.
